Quakes hits Iran's Kerman province

Earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the Raver city in the Kerman province of Iran yesterday, Mehr reported.

Today two earthquakes measuring 2.6, on the Richter scale jolted the Raver city again.

The Seismological Center under the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute registered the first quake at 18:31 local time Jan.26, the second- 06:47 and the third - 07:13.  

There are yet no reports on the number of possible casualties or damage to properties by the quake.

The worst quake in recent times hit Zarand in Kerman province in 2004, killing 1,000 people.
