Over 7,530,000 tons of gas condensates worth some $4.338 have been exported from South Pars gas field during the first eight months of current Iranian calendar year (ended November 21), the managing director of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone organization said here on Sunday.
SHANA News Network quoted Mousa Souri as saying that, "the amount shows 67 percent increase in terms of volume and 94 percent rise in terms of value in comparison to the same period previous year."
"Some 4.5 million tons of non-oil goods worth over $2.89 billion was also exported during the mentioned period," the official added.
The amount shows 15 percent increase in terms of value compared to previous year's figure.
Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ, located in the southern province of Bushehr), has been allocated 100 square kilometers of land at Assaluyeh for the various complexes and facilities. The site is a collection of different plants and refineries (known as "phases").
