Singapore has suspended the jet fuel supply for Iran's Mahan Air, said a member of the Iranian Parliament and the Commission on Civil Affairs Mohammadrza Sabiri, the official website of the Iranian Parliament reported.

Sabiri called on to halt the Tehran-Bangkok flights.

He slammed the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization for not taking measures against countries which refused to supply fuel for Iranian aircrafts.

Last week, the Bangkok airport refused to supply fuel for an Iranian aircraft, which had to fly to Calcutta, India, and was refueled.

Iran's refusal to abandon its nuclear activities has resulted in resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council in 2010, as well as additional unilateral sanctions approved by the U.S. Congress and the foreign ministers of all EU countries, which were primarily directed against the banking, financial and energy sectors of Iran.

Western companies stopped filling planes of the Iran Air due to sanctions imposed on Iran.

In July 2010, after the adoption of unilateral U.S. sanctions against banking and energy sectors of Iran BP has refused to extend its contract for fuel supply for the Iranian airline at the Hamburg Airport.

In late October, 2010 Head of the Iran Air Parvaresh Farhad said that the organization would sue the companies which refused to provide fuel for Iranian aircrafts.
