Hollywood celebrity Angelina Jolie will travel to Iran by the end of the Iranian calendar year (ends on March 20, 2012) to make a movie, ILNA quoted Iranian cinema producer Ali Sartipi as saying on Tuesday.
Sartipi noted that Jolie has given a preliminary consent to visit Iran and Iran on its part launched discussing Jolie's visit program with her producer two weeks earlier.
"If Jolie agrees and the Iranian Culture Ministry approves her visit to the country, she will make a film there," he said.
Sartipi refused to unveil any information about the film adding that the details of her visit and the film will be announced after the final agreement is reached.
Jolie, who was named Hollywood's highest-paid actress by Forbes in 2009 and 2011, is noted for promoting humanitarian causes as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
