Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, in meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh here on Saturday, said Iran is ready to help development of Palestinians, IRNA reported.
According to Foreign Ministry Media Department, Salehi and Haniyeh reviewed regional developments, particularly those of Palestine in the meeting.
Referring to the developments caused by the Islamic Awakening and the growing weakening of the US and Israel, Salehi told his Palestinian visitor that Islamic Resistance and popular support for it is now stronger than the past.
For his part, Haniyeh called the presence of millions of Iranians in the rallies of 33rd anniversary of Islamic Revolution 'glorious' and said the progress of Iranian nation in different fields strengthens the position of resistance in the Muslim world.
Expounding on the latest developments in Palestine, Haniyeh stressed that Hamas Movement adheres to the principles and ideals of the resistance and for now, believes that unity among Palestinians is the key to success.
He also appreciated Islamic Republic of Iran for its generous help to Palestine resistance especially during the 22-day war against Israel.
