Iran completed the drilling of 190 oil and gas wells, totalling more than 454,000 metres last year, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports the country's national drilling company chief saying.
In his review of the National Iranian Drilling Company's (NIDC) operations in the last Iranian year which ended on March 20, managing director, Heydar Bahmani, said his company had drilled 22 sea wells, 88 repair wells, four exploration wells and 98 productive wells.
The NIDC was 451 days ahead in completing its projects, he added.
