Ali Baqeri, a ranking member of the Iranian negotiating team, held talks with China's representative in the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) in Moscow on Sunday.
During the meeting which took place in the Iranian embassy in Moscow the two sides discussed different issues including cooperation between Iran and China, the Mehr News Agency reported.
The Iranian negotiating team headed by chief negotiator Saeed Jalili arrived in Moscow early Sunday.
Negotiators from Iran and the major powers, who are led by European Union foreign policy chief, will officially resume talks in Moscow on Monday.
