A group of terrorists have been captured in Iran's Khuzestan province, according to country Intelligence Ministry's report, IRIB News reported.
According to the investigation details, the detainees were working for foreign intelligence services and Israel.
The report did not reveal the names of the captives, and how many of them were detained.
The intelligence report also said that the terrorists had objectives to disrupt the security of Khuzestan province, by blowing up objects with explosives that were smuggled into Iran from one of Persian Gulf countries.
Reportedly, the detained people also planned other acts of sabotage prior to being revealed and arrested by Iranian intelligence.
Upon arrest, the intelligence of Iran found and seized seven ready-to-explode bombs, and communication equipment.
Additional information on the investigation will be released at a later time, according to intelligence report.
