Former Iranian Minister of Road and Urbanization Ali Nikzad has been appointed head of board members of Tadbir Construction Development Holding by the Executive Committee of the Imam Khomeini's Order, Iranian Donya-e-eqtesad newspaper reported.

Tadbir is the biggest company in Iran's housing sector and covers the holdings of four largest active groups in buildings and structures, and is active in the construction of residential, commercial and industrial structures as well as construction related services.

It is also active in the various commerce activities of domestic and international financing.

It should be recalled that, on June 4 the US Treasury Department added the Executive Committee of the Imam Khomeini's Order, which is a government commercial holdings program, and 37 of its affiliated companies to its blacklist accusing them of hiding assets and generating billions of dollars' worth of revenue to help Tehran evade sanctions over its disputed nuclear program, NY Times reported.

Previously, Nikzad served as cabinet Minister of Roads & Urban Development, Information and Communications Technology, Transportation and Housing, during the presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (2005- 2013).
