A senior commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) says the country is prepared to train the regional countries' pilots, PressTV reported.

Deputy Commander for Coordination of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said on Monday that all infrastructures needed to train regional states' pilots exist in the IRIAF.

He noted that IRIAF is equipped with advanced equipment and systems.

"The IRIAF Academy has been completely institutionalized, and enjoys the necessary infrastructures for training the pilots of the other regional countries," Nasirzadeh pointed out.

On February 2, Iran unveiled its latest fighter jet, the Qaher-313 (Conqueror-313). The single-seat stealth fighter aircraft can take off and land on short runways.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.

Tehran has repeatedly assured other nations that its military might poses no threat to other countries, saying that the Islamic Republic's defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence.
