Iran eyes to boost industrial, mineral ties with Ghana

Iran seeks to boost industrial and mineral ties with Ghana, Iran's Industry, Mine, and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said on Wednesday.

He made the remarks during his meeting with the visiting Speaker of Ghana's Parliament Edward Korbly Doe Adjaho, the IRIB News Agency reported.

"Iran is ready to export technical and engineering services to Ghana," he said.

"The two countries have great potential to provide investment opportunities," Nematzadeh said.

"The establishment of Iran-Ghana joint economic commission will pave the way for boosting bilateral ties," he added.

Adjaho for his part condiment the sanctions imposed on Iran, saying that the sanction have failed to prevent Iran from carrying out economic activities.

He also called on the expansion of economic ties between the two countries.

"We defend Iran's nuclear right," Adjaho concluded.
