Iran hopes to open a new page in the relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in order to settle the issues of the country's nuclear programme, Iranian Permanent Representative in the IAEA Reza Najafi told reporters after the talks in Vienna on Tuesday, Itar-Tass reported.

"Iran has made new proposals on practical steps as the contribution in the dialogue with the IAEA, we discussed them in detail, and the IAEA estimated them as constructive," he said. "I hope that these new proposals will help open a new page in cooperation that mainly seeks to resolve all issues remained unsettled," he noted.

Meanwhile, both parties to the talks refused to make the measures proposed by Iran concrete. "We have not agreed on this issue yet, we will have to negotiate the details ahead of a next meeting," Najafi said, adding that the parties to the talks decided not to disclose the content of the agreements.

Meanwhile, the next round of talks in Tehran was scheduled on November 11, the parties to the talks said in a joint statement upon the results of the consultations.
