Iraqi PM meets Iranian president

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has met with Iranian president Hassan Rouhani on Dec.5, Iranian state IRINN TV reported.
Maliki arrived in Tehran on Dec. 4, to discuss regional and international issues with senior Iranian officials during his two-day visit.
Iraqi official should also be meeting with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Chairman of Iran's Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Maliki and Rouhani discussed mutual relations and other important issues during the meeting. Both sides emphasized to further boost cooperation between the countries.
Previously Maliki met with Iranian first vice president Eshaq Jahangiri on Dec. 4, and discussed such issues as terrorism, Syrian crisis, and further expansion of economic ties between their countries.
