The spokesman of Yemeni popular Houthi Ansarullah movement and senior advisor to Iran's foreign minister on Monday discussed latest developments in Yemen peace process, IRNA reports.

At the meeting, that was held in Tehran, Mohammed Abdul Salam and Hossein Jaberi-Ansari, who is also Iran's senior negotiator at Yemen's international peace talks, discussed the ways of easing the talks and securing the success of the efforts, as well as helping Yemeni people to put an end to the imposed war.

A military intervention in Yemen was launched in 2015 by Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a number of several other Arab states. The bombings have claimed lives of thousands of Yemeni civilians, including hundreds of children.

Iran and the four European countries Italy, Germany, France and UK have so far explored the Yemeni crisis in two rounds of discussions in Munich and Rome.
