Minister criticizes situation in Iranian airports
Tehran, Iran, March 4
All Iranian airports are beneath the people’s dignity, Iran’s minister of roads and urban development said.
“Even some airports, which carry out 85 percent of flights, do not meet the requirements,” Mohammad Eslami said on the sidelines of an inauguration ceremony of the new head of Iran’s Airports Company on Sunday, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
On Wednesday, Minister Eslami appointed Siavash Amirmokri as the new head of the Iran Airports Company.
Amirmokri, who was the deputy head of the Airports Company for resource management and development over the past years, replaces Rahmatollah Mahabadi, the company’s previous head.
