In the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (started march 21, 2018), 46 web sites were shut down because of illegal air ticket sales, Reza Jafarzadeh, head of public relations at Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization (CAO), said, Trend reports referring to CAO.
Jafarzadeh noted that the web sites sold tickets without obtaining license from the organization.
In some cases, the sold tickets wer on non-existing flights, he said.
He further added that serious measures will be taken to address the issue.
