Tehran, Iran, June 28

Trend:

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade has warned domestic automakers to avoid any intentional delays in sales and storage of cars, said deputy minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Jafar Serqini.

"Automakers are obligated to send the autos to the market after production to prevent any price hikes, and should not store vehicles at any cost," he said, Trend reports citing ILNA.

The devaluation of Iran's national currency and foreign exchange rate fluctuation has affected the price of vehicles while Iranian automakers are using the pretext to increase prices and become hesitant in releasing their products to the market.
