The Iranian government will spend a minimum of 430 trillion rials (app. $10.2 billion) on development projects by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), Head of Plan and Budget Organization of Iran Mohammad Bagher Nobakht said in an interview to ICANA News Agency, Trend reports.
According to Nobakht, 270 trillion rials (app. $6.42 billion) have been allocated during the first three months (from March 21 to June 21).
Nobakht added that millions of dollars were spent on the Tehran-North highway. The first part of this highway worth three trillion rials (app. $ 71.4 million) will be commissioned this year, he said.
