In order to strengthen its Air Forces Turkey is purchasing 30 newest fighters F-16. Trends special correspondent reports from Ankara, the relevant talks are held with representatives of Lockhed Martin.
Turkey is going to buy aircrafts F-16 Block 52+ at nearly $1.5bn.
The talks on F-16 purchasing are held against the background of Turkeys participation in joint project for manufacture of new generation fighters F-35. The said project is the countrys greatest military design in history, it stipulates manufacture of 100 fighters F-35 in total amount of $10bn.
