International Monetary Fund Due in Istanbul on Monday

(Zaman)The International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation will arrive in Istanbul on Monday for the 5th review of discussions.

Headed by the IMF Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Giorgianni, the IMF mission will hold talks with representatives of the private sector and banking sector for two days in Istanbul, reports Trend.

The IMF officials will proceed to Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday for meetings with top officials of the Turkish economy to discuss the IMF-backed stand-by arrangement.

The IMF has already completed the first four reviews of the Turkish economy as part of its $10 billion IMF loan deal with Turkey.
