Larijani: Tehran will reciprocate if non-dialogue option is used

(IRNA) -. Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani here Friday warned of reciprocal action in case a language other than dialogue is used against Tehran.

"If the process to solve Iran's nuclear problem gets out of the dialogue course and our partners use another language, we will too stand in another position and adopt proportionate decisions," said Larijani in an interview with reporters upon arrival in Moscow, reports Trend.

Larijani insisted that dialogue is the sole possible means to solve the nuclear issue.

"Iran considers dialogue as the sole logical way to solve its nuclear problem and that's an agreement already reached with the Group 5+1," said Larijani.

Asked about Iran's reaction if the European draft resolution is ratified in the UN Security Council, Larijani said, "If they wish to use a language beyond former agreements, we will too reconsider our stances, including relations with the IAEA."

He said nothing could dishearten the Iranian nation in its drive.

"If they think the Iranian nation would be disheartened by adoption of resolution they are badly mistaken," said the Iranian official.

On Russian proposal for joint uranium enrichment, Larijani said, "The project has not been removed from our agenda and is under study." Larijani was speaking shortly after arrival in Moscow for talks with Russian security and foreign ministry officials.
