Turkish prime minister meets former US President Clinton in New York

(Cihan) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met former US President Bill Clinton in New York, where he has been to attend the Alliance of Civilizations meeting.

Clinton and Erdogan came together in the former's office in Harlem, Manhattan.

No statements were made following the one-hour meeting, in which press members were not allowed either, reports Trend.

Latest developments on the Middle East problem, the process of Turkey's accession to the European Union, Cyprus stalemate and Armenian allegations were some of the issues discussed in the meeting, according to the diplomatic sources.
