Iran, Sudan sign seven MoUs

At the end of the two-day visit of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Sudan, seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed by the two sides in the presence of the two presidents.

The agreements on environmental cooperation as well as industrial and mine cooperation were signed by representatives of the ministries of agriculture as well as industries and mines of the two countries.

The MoU on cooperation between the coroner's office of Iran and Sudan were signed by representatives of the Red Crescent Society of both sides. Two other documents were mutually signed on technical and economic issues.

Another document on technical and professional training was signed by the two sides. Besides, an MoU was inked by representatives of the university of science and industry of the two countries.

After the ceremony, where the MoUs were signed, President Ahmadinejad and President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir briefed reporters on the outcome of their talks.
