Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct.14
By Fatih Karimov - Trend:
Iran's transportation and fuel management office has issued a communiqué, according to which Iranian and non-Iranian transit trucks carrying Iranian goods will no longer receive fuel at the subsidized rate.
Mahmoud Bazari, an official at the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, said the decision will increase transportation costs and will decrease the competition between Iranian exporters, Iran's Mehr news agency reported on October 14.
From now on, the trucks will be using the free market-priced fuel.
The decision has doubled problems of truck drivers who export Iranian goods to Europe, especially via Turkey, said Bazari.
