Iran’s non-oil trade hits $86B

Iran's non-oil trade turnover (including condensates) surpassed $86.261 billion during the first ten months of current Iranian fiscal year (March 21, 2014- Jan. 21, 2015), Iranian Customs Administration reported Jan. 22.

Iran's non-oil exports stood at $42.584 billion during the period, 24.21 percent more compared the 10-month period of last year (Iran's fiscal year starts on March 21).

Iran also imported about $43.677 billion worth of goods during the period, which indicates a rise by 15.44 percent in value year on year.

The volume of Iran's exports stood at 81.968 million metric tons, meanwhile 34.38 million metric tons of goods imported by Iran during the first ten months of current Iranian fiscal year.

Iran's non-oil exports stood at $35.145 billion during the first nine months of current Iranian fiscal year (March 21- Dec. 21, 2014). Tehran also imported about $38.462 billion worth of goods during that period.
