Tehran, Iran, June 8

By Mehdi Sepahvand - Trend:

Banking relations between Iran and Germany will be resumed this summer, said Chairman of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) Mehdi Karbasian.

He added that the opening of the Iran-Germany trade office will provide room for private tradesmen and producers from both countries, so that they would more easily export their products or exchange technology, SHANA news agency reported June 8.

Karbasian pointed out that during a recent visit of Iran's Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh to Germany, numerous talks were held with the companies and banks, where the German side vowed to improve ties with Iran.

He also said that during the visit, President Hassan Rouhani was invited to Germany.

Nematzadeh led an economic delegation to Berlin last week. During the visit, the Iran-Germany trade office was inaugurated there.
