Total amount of the products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports increased by 12 percent in the first half of the current year compared to the same time last year.
According to the latest statistics by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, in the mentioned period, 139.3 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at about 28 ports across the country.
The statistics also suggests that the volume of the non-oil products (loaded and unloaded) decreased by six percent, while the figure for oil products hiked by 27 percent.
In the mentioned period, 106.4 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded at the country’s ports.
The figure for loading oil products in the mentioned period is 74.5 million tons.
According to the statistics, 12.7 million tons of oil products have been unloaded in the mentioned period.
Iran also unloaded 20.1 million tons of non-oil products at its ports over the past month.
