The Islamic Republic of Iran exported over 6.4 million tons of mineral products, valued at $281 million, over spring, the latest statistics, released by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, suggested.
According to the statistics, the volume of the country’s mineral exports in a period of three months (between March 20 and June 20) increased by 80 percent year-on-year.
This is while the value of the same products has surged by 68 percent.
Iran’s trade turnover in the mentioned period stood at $19.4 billion, 9 percent less than in last spring.
The country also exported worth of $8.7 billion non-oil products (excluding gas condensates) this spring, indicating a 4-percent growth as compared to the same period of the last year.
