An Iranian railway official has expressed hope that an existing memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Croatia would lead to the European nation’s investment in Iran’s railway.
Managing Director of RAJA Rail Transportation Company Mohammad Rajabi has said that he has held talks with Croatian companies on investment in manufacturing rail carriages in Iran, IRIB news agency reported.
According to the report Rajabi had earlier visited Zagreb to discuss expansion of cooperation on railways technologies.
The official discussed cooperation with several Croatian companies during the visit including ATRON and Industrius.
