The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 23:
Export floor: Offers 87,650 tons of bitumen, 55,000 tons of iron ore, 600 tons of aluminum billet, 1,000 tons of aluminum ingot and 10 kilograms of gold bullion
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 130,564 tons of bitumen, polymers, vacuum bottom feed stock, lube cut oil, sulphur and slap waxes.
Agriculture floor: Offers 16,800 tons of wheat, 170 tons of large lentils, 4,400 tons of sugar, 2,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 5,000 tons of feed barley, 15 tons of Iranian rice (Hashemi sort) and 3,170 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 595 tons of palm oil from Malaysia, lactic butter from Germany and Belgium, as well as metal scraps.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
