The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for August 27:
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 201,506 tons of polymers, lube cut oil, vacuum bottom feed stock, sulphur, slack waxes and benzene.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,600 tons of copper wire, 3,000 tons of copper cathode and 20,000 tons of low grade copper as well as 2,000 tons of cement, 10 kilograms of gold bullion and nine tons of high precious metals concentrates.
Agriculture floor: Offers 300 tons of sugar.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
