The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) increased by 2,605.74 points (1.87 percent) to end the trades at 142,234.4 on Sept. 9.
According to the TSE official website, about 3,599 million shares valued at $204 million were traded for the day.
The Price Index (TEPIX) increased by 762.03 points (1.87 percent) to post 41,591.4.
The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) increased by 1,894.93 points (1.84 percent) to 104,903.9.
The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) increased by 5,309.46 points (1.91 percent) to 282,710.5.
The Industry Index increased by 2,337.54 points (1.83 percent) to 129,896.5.
TSE 30 Index gained 100.53 points (1.48 percent) to 6,884.3.
TSE 50 Index gained 100.48 points (1.67 percent) to 6,124.8.
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company, Pars Petrochemical Company, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company and Ghadir Investment Company were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, Khouzestan Steel Company, Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran, Iran Tractor Foundry Company, Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group Company and Informatics Services Corporation had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
