Tehran, Iran, June 24
Trend:
Some 4.3 million tons of basic goods are still at Iranian customs, while some 101,000 containers with 8 tons of commodities are piled up at country's ports, said the Deputy for Iran Customs Administration, Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi.
"Some 78,394 containers belong to Shahid Rajaee Port," said Arvanaghi, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
He went on to say that lack of permits resulted in goods being kept at the customs, as well as banking problems and expired registrations.
"Lack of permit for registering order is the main reason for sediment while banking problems and expired registration license and lack of clearance is other reasons.", he indicated.
"Around 6,700 goods have declared their imported goods while 30 percent of the goods are waiting to be released," he said.
