Iran to open commercial center in China

TEHRAN, Iran, April 11. Iran is to launch a commercial center in China in the current Iranian year (starting March 21, 2022), the head of the Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce Majid Reza Hariri told Trend.

"Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce has planned to establish the center with the aid of the Trade Promotion Organization to develop non-oil export to China in the current year," he said.

He went on to say that four commercial centers are designed to be launched in China and that at least one will be open in the current year

Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce will also open an office in China and plans to hold a permanent exhibition of Iranian goods the administrative stages are underway

"Iran's plans to develop non-oil export to China have been suspended due to the pandemics but some are being pursued by online communication. There are other programs for trade within China that will be announced in coming months," he noted.

According to the official, the following commercial centers will change the trade situation Iran will export finished products instead of raw materials and Iran's permanent exhibition will focus on marketing.

Iran is currently preparing warehouses in China's free zones to have mass storage for its products and will establish Pavilions in China's exhibitions to display Iranian products.
