BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) amounted to about 60.400 tons worth about $83.2 million, the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
According to statistics, over the last Iranian year, Iran's non-oil trade with Kyrgyzstan increased by 6.4 percent in value terms and decreased by 6.5 percent by weight compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023).
However, trade turnover between the two countries last year was about 64,600 tons worth about $78.2 million.
Statistics indicate that mainly petrochemical products, agricultural products, phosphoric acid, etc. were exchanged between the two countries.
Information shows that Iran's trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan for the 12th month of the last Iranian year (from February 20 through March 19, 2024) amounted to 5,570 tons worth $8.18 million.
To note, according to the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration, the country's trade turnover (imports and exports) last year amounted to more than $153 billion. The turnover increased by 2.6 percent compared to the previous year.
