Tehran, Iran, June 29
By Mehdi Sepahvand - Trend:
The top mission of the Islamic Republic is helping Muslims, where the armed forces, the IRGC in particular, have realized their role, an Iranian military commander said.
The IRGC has prepared whatever is needed to help Muslims, IRGC Naval Force Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said.
No doubt in the future all Islamic countries will arrive at a common understanding and the most central issue among Muslim countries must be unity, he stressed, Fars news agency reported June 29.
The IRGC Naval Force believes to have a role in securing the Persian Gulf region, which is the most sensitive spot in the world, he stated.
Fadavi said that the future of the world depends on how secure the Persian Gulf is.
"This is an Islamic duty on our shoulder as well as the shoulder of other Muslim countries to insure security not only for ourselves, but for others to enjoy better situations under that security," he stated.
