On Sunday night, August 25, a group of unknown men attacked protestors belonging to the peaceful picket line in front of the Yerevan municipality, Armenia Today reported.
The attack took place in front of the Ararat Hotel. Around 10 people attacked and beat protestors Mihran Margaryan and Babken Ter-Grigoryan. The unknown assailants stole the iPhone and passport of Babken Ter-Grigoryan and threatened the activists saying that the latter did not dare to go against their 'fathers'.
The activists laid a complaint to the police.
