Media outlet: Armenian and Russian presidents’ meeting planned in Moscow

According to the Armenian 1in.am agency, Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan will leave for Moscow on September 3 for a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The main topic of the meeting will be the issue of initialling the EU Association Agreement by Armenia at the Vilnius Summit in November.

Our sources at the government maintain that even when it seems that everything was finally agreed between Yerevan and Brussels and the initialling of the EU-Armenia Association Agreement is at a final stage and leaves no room for doubt, everything will be decided during the meeting between the Armenian and Russian presidents scheduled for September 3.

Serzh Sargsyan left for Croatia where he is participating in the finalisation and adjustments to the EU-Armenia Association Agreement.

The European Union's working group which looked at the agreement with Armenia is in Zagreb, capital of Croatia.
