Baku, Azerbaijan, Feb. 23

The faction of the Prosperous Armenia party, the second largest in Armenia's parliament, will boycott the parliament's next meeting, to be held Feb. 23-26, Novosti-Armenia news agency reported.
Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan said on Feb. 12 at a meeting of the ruling Republican Party that the Prosperous Armenia Party's leader, Gagik Tsarukyan, as a politician, has become evil for the country.
He also sacked Tsarukyan as a member of the country's Security Council.
The next day Tsarukyan issued a statement that the party will begin the process of power change.
But after a meeting with Sargsyan on Feb. 17, Tsarukyan cancelled a national rally scheduled for Feb. 20.
