Georgia, Tbilisi, 30 May / Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia/ The Georgian President called the parliamentary elections, which took place in Georgia on 21 May, 'exemplary'. "All international watchdogs noted this. They admired our elections," Mikheil Saakashvili said at the governmental meeting.
"The conclusion was voiced then by the Foreign Ministers and Presidents of different countries. The main point is that to hold such elections was a condition for us to enter NATO. That was stated at the Bucharest summit," he said.
The President congratulated the government that the people rendered such support to the Ministers and Parliament. "That is our common victory. People believe in us and we must prove it by development of a concrete governmental action plan intended for 50 months," he said.
