Nicolas Sarcozy to Arrive in Tbilisi 8 September Evening

Georgia, Tbilisi, 7 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ French President Nicolas Sarkozy will arrive in Tbilisi on 8 September at 20.00, Georgian Presidential Administration said. According to outline reports, Sarkozy, also current chairman of the European Union (EU), will visit Moscow to meet with Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev beforehand. Sarkozy will urge Russia to fulfil the terms of the ceasefire agreement which was signed between Russian and Georgian Presidents with his mediation. Russia has not yet withdrawn its troops from the occupied Georgian territory and has not brought it to the condition of 7 August ї before the armed conflict in South Ossetia. Should Russia not fulfil its obligations, EU will re-consider its relations with Moscow.
