Georgian Vice-Premier: Kiev does not share Moscow's position regarding supply of weapons to Georgia

Ukraine continues to supply weapons to Georgia and fulfills its obligations on servicing previously supplied equipment, Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Giorgi Baramidze said in an exclusive interview with magazine "Zerkalo nedeli. (Mirror Weekly) Ukraine".

He said Kiev does not share Moscow's position that supply of weapons exacerbates the situation in the South Caucasus region and "contributes to militarization of Georgia".

"Practically the whole international community does not share Moscow's position. And, thank God, Ukraine is on the side of the rest of the world," Baramidze said.

He said the two countries' cooperation in the military sphere continues. "I can not go into details, but we have no problems," Baramidze said.
