Georgian police post was attacked by the occupied Abkhazia - Georgian Interior ministry

The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a report on March 4 attack on a police post from the occupied territory of Abkhazia. As stated in the declaration, in 3.20 local time on Sunday night at the Georgian police checkpoint in the village of Ganmukhuri (administrative border between Abkhazia and Georgia) was attacked by six armed men who entered the territory of Abkhazia.

They shot at the post-propelled grenades and automatic weapons. The shooting lasted for about 10 minutes, after which the assailants retreated back into the territory of Abkhazia.

No one was injured from the fire.

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia condemns this action and calls on the Russian occupation of wax to stop such provocations in the future.
