The Boeing jet owned by ‘Airzena’ Georgian airline was forced to return to Tbilisi after one and a half hours in flight. The chartered plane left for Dublin on Wednesday with the Georgian national football team on board at 11:30 Tbilisi time, but after one and a half hour, it again landed at Tbilisi International Airport.

The Boeing jet owned by 'Airzena' Georgian airline was forced to return to Tbilisi after one and a half hours in flight. The chartered plane left for Dublin on Wednesday with the Georgian national football team on board at 11:30 Tbilisi time, but after one and a half hour, it again landed at Tbilisi International Airport.

The airline has not made an official statement on this issue, but the Georgian Football Federation (GFF) confirmed the reports to Trend.

The reasons for the return of the aircraft Football Federation are unknown. In FFG stressed that the players reacted calmly to the incident, since no emergency situation on board arose.

The Georgian football players left for Dublin for a match against Ireland which is planned to be held on June 2.
