SOCAR Georgia Gas will increase gas tariffs for non-household customers in Georgia from December 1, Trend reports, citing Georgian media.
Gas tariffs in Georgia for non-household customers from December 1 will increase by 20 Georgian tetri (6 cents) and will amount to 1.15 Georgian lari (36 cents) per 1 cubic meter of natural gas.
“The need for price adjustment is due to the increase in service costs and changes in the exchange rate of the national currency. At the same time, gas prices will remain unchanged for bread companies,” SOCAR Georgia Gas said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Georgian Telavi Gas and Inter Gas companies also announced an increase in gas tariffs for businesses.
The current non-household tariff of SOCAR Georgia Gas is 95 Georgian tetri (30 cents) per 1 cubic meter of natural gas.
