Georgia's ferro-alloys exports to Turkey up

Georgia’s exports of ferro-alloys to Turkey from January through November 2021 amounted to $46.2 million, which is an increase of 54.5 percent, compared to $29.9 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).

However, the volume of the exported ferro-alloys to Turkey from Georgia over the reporting period of 2021 slightly decreased from 31,299 tons over the same period of 2020 to 31,269 tons.

Thus, Turkey ranks third among main importers of ferro-alloys from Georgia over first 11 months of 2021, following after Russia ($157 million) and the US ($134.6 million).

Meanwhile, Georgia’s total exports of ferro-alloys from January through November 2021 amounted to $414.7 million, which is an increase of 79.1 percent, compared to $231.5 million over the same period of 2020.
