NATO does not recognize the legitimacy of the elections which took place on Saturday in the Georgian region of Abkhazia, Javier Colomina, NATO Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, said, Trend reports via his Twitter publication.
“The Alliance continues to support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders,” NATO Special Representative added.
Meanwhile, the so-called "parliamentary election" in Georgia’s Abkhazia was held on March 12, 2022.
