BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5. Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon, a winner of the Paris Olympics, slept in a park in the Olympic Village, spreading a towel by a bench due to the absence of air conditioning in the athletes' rooms, Saudi Arabian rower Hussein Alireza wrote on social media, Trend reports via Idman.biz.
Previously, Ceccon raised a stink about the conditions in the French capital, claiming that Tokyo 2020 was on a whole different level.
During hot weather, the Italian specifically brought attention to the rooms' absence of air conditioning.
