BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. Incumbent Moldovan President Maia Sandu won the presidential election with a 10 percent margin over Alexandr Stoianoglo, preliminary results of the second round of elections held on November 3 says, Trend reports.
According to preliminary voting results published on the CEC website, 908,196 voters (54.91%) voted for Sandu, and 745,866 voters (45.09%) voted for Stoianoglo.
1,697,019 Moldovan citizens took part in the elections, which is 54.28 percent. By this time, 98.6 percent of the voting protocols have been counted.
