At least 9 killed in Iraq bombings

At least nine people were killed and 45 others wounded Thursday in two separate car bombings in Iraq, according to security officials, dpa reported.

Seven people were killed and 35 injured in an explosion in the city of Salah Eddin, 170 kilometres north of the capital Baghdad.

The second bombing occurred in the city of Hilla, some 100 kilometres south of Baghdad, leaving two dead and 10 injured.
